Randy Buntyn uses his 30-year background in public accounting and finance to help guide Dove Logistics and Transportation's continuing growth. As a co-founder of Dove, he established a solid financial platform that has helped the company enjoy increasingly rapid growth ever since.

Following college graduation, Buntyn began his career as a field agent and trainer for the U. S. Internal Revenue Service in its Dallas and Fort Worth , Texas , offices. He uses the experience gained auditing public companies to ensure strict tax code compliance works hand in hand with profitable corporate practices.

Buntyn left the IRS for private practice with accounting firms in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, where he developed tax strategies for small and large businesses, including a number of well-known evangelical associations and ministries. The perspective he developed as a client advocate provided a valuable counterpoint to his government work.

That broad-based experience made Buntyn ideal for his next assignment. He joined the Resolution Trust Corporation in 1990, the US government-owned asset management company created to liquidate assets of savings and loan associations that failed in the savings and loan crisis of the late 1980s.

In 1994 Buntyn purchased a private CPA practice, which he moved to Grapevine in 1999. He maintained the practice actively in Dove's formative years, but Dove's continued growth required him to begin phasing out the practice in 2007 so he can focus entirely on Dove by the end of 2008.

Buntyn's business philosophy is simple and effective. His upbringing and experience have taught him total honesty in all business matters leads to customer loyalty, which leads to long-term success.
